Case Study #16: Handmade Accessories Store (+51% Google Visits)
Store name, website and linking sites have been withheld.
Problem: A small online brand selling hand-stitched needlepoint belts, keychains, dog collars and stockings depends on shoppers who search for products, not for its name. Only 2 of 178 searches in its Semrush report include the brand name. It needed to win more of those product searches and turn the visits into orders.
What We Did:
- Wrote three new guides (1,300–1,600 words, each with an eight-question FAQ): needlepoint golf belts, a belt buying guide and a thread & care guide, all linking back to the belt collection.
- Earned three editorial backlinks from relevant lifestyle and pet articles pointing to the belts, keychains and dog collars collections.
- Built on the dedicated keychain, belt and dog collar landing pages from our earlier work (see Case Study #9).

The Takeaway: A niche store doesn't need a famous name to grow from search. Category pages that match how shoppers describe products, guides that link back to them and a steady flow of relevant links compound into more visits and more orders year after year.
About These Numbers: Visits, orders and revenue are from Google Analytics (tracked revenue may differ from store records). Rankings combine a Semrush export (Oct 15, 2026) and separate rank tracking (Sep 23, 2026); search volumes are keyword-tool estimates. Backlink data is from Moz. Period comparisons can also reflect seasonality and other factors.
