This case study proves that you don't need to have a huge budget to dominate your niche. Some local service businesses do one thing and they do it extremely well. It also helps if you are all over when someone does a long-tail or short-tail variant of your search. If you are one of a handful of people in a large area that does one thing well, you are going to get a phone call almost every time someone visits your site. Let's take a look at this work-at-home business that never has to go into the office.
Problem: The client was getting phone calls from non-profits and grant accounting and that's an area that they wanted to get out of. They specifically wanted to offer accounting services for law firms. They weren't ranking in their target market areas for that and business was slow.
Solution:Â We wanted to target this specific set of keywords
For "law firm accounting," "legal bookkeeping," and other similar keywords, there are about 2,000 to 3,000 monthly searches combined. We created location pages that were optimized for these keywords. We now dominate large cities in four southern states in the United States.Â
